• Account & Preferences: language, theme, saved alerts, favorite metals.
• Usage Data: anonymized analytics on charts viewed, alerts triggered, screen visits.
• Device Data: OS version, country/region, crash diagnostics.

We do not collect any personal identity documents or track precise location by default.

2. How We Use Data

• Serve realtime prices and cache offline data for faster loading.
• Notify you about price alerts, volatility spikes, and news (if enabled).
• Improve stability, detect fraud, and customize metal dashboards.

3. Third-Party Services

Gold Prices integrates the following SDKs:

• Google Mobile Ads: serves contextual ads. No personally identifiable data is sold.
• Firebase: crash reporting & anonymized analytics.
• In-App Purchases (Apple/Google): handles secure payment processing.

4. Data Retention & Security

Preferences are stored using encrypted storage on your device. Crash and analytics logs are retained up to 12 months for trend analysis. We follow OWASP MASVS guidelines and rotate API credentials periodically.

5. Your Rights

• Request deletion or export of stored data by emailing privacy@goldprices.app.
• Opt-out of analytics or marketing notifications inside Settings → Privacy.
• Restore purchases anytime from Settings → Restore Purchases.
